The Villa Hadir, standing for the company of the “Hauts-fourneaux et Aciéries de Differdange – St-Ingbert – Rumelange”, was built in 1897.
Occupied for many years by Arbed, it was regrettably abandoned for nearly ten years before IKO invested in its redevelopment.
Facing the Arboria district, the AureaTower and the Opkorn shopping centre, its refurbishment in 2005 marked the first stage of IKO’s long-term commitment in the country’s third-largest city.
Renovated in keeping with the original architecture while introducing modern touches, the Villa is once more a classic jewel of Differdange.
It provides an imposing entrance to the city, harmoniously developed on both sides of the road by IKO.
