Borders

A new shopping centre in Schengen, between the vineyards and the Moselle

Borders is the first shopping centre in the Luxembourg-Moselle area, and the first developed by IKO.

Lying between Remerschen and Schengen at the meeting point between Luxembourg, France and Germany, its name, “Borders”, emphasises this particular feature. Borders blends in harmoniously with its environment, lying between vineyards and the River Moselle.

Its façades are covered in either wood or plants.

At the back, it provides around forty nesting boxes for protected species in the neighbouring Natura 2000 zone, highlighting IKO’s desire to produce top-quality integrated projects.
