In the footsteps of Charlie Chaplin

On the shores of Lake Geneva, the Manoir de Ban is one of the largest private estates in Switzerland. It lies in Corsier-sur-Vevey, a pretty wine-growing village.
The manor owes its fame to the fact that Charlie Chaplin lived there for the last 25 years of his life.

Culture is an integral part of the IKO philosophy. The team supervised the execution of work on Chaplin’s World.

Contemporary

A challenging large-scale initiative

The challenge of this project was to build the studios, a new wing with highly contemporary architecture next to the manor (a neoclassical building from 1840), ready to receive over 300,000 visitors each year.

Nature

The Alps

Chaplin’s residence lies in the heart of a magnificent 4-hectare estate.
A delightfully leafy setting that visitors can enjoy all year round, with a stunning view of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
