Conversion of an iconic villa

The Villa Hadir, whose nae stands for “Société des Hauts-fourneaux et Aciéries de Differdange – St-Ingbert – Rumelange”, was built in 1897.
Long occupied by Arbed, it was left in a sorry state for almost 10 years before IKO invested in its conversion.

Lying opposite the Arboria district, the Aurea tower and the Opkorn shopping centre, its restoration in 2005 marked the first step in IKO’s long-term commitment to the country’s third largest city.
Renovated with respect for the original architecture, while adding modern touches, the villa can pride itself once more on being one of Differdange’s classic jewels.
